Radiance - by Ian Whitehead, Bryce National Park, Utah

I love sandstone, and the ability of apparent ‘solid rock’ to be twisted, carved, wind-swept into towering cliffs of needles and balancing rocks that almost look alive in the light.

This is the amazing world of Bryce Canyon National Park, in the heart of Utah’s canyon country. Within a few hours drive of each other are some of the most unique canyons in the world.

The early Mormon settlers that ventured to this area by covered wagons truly got it right – as this is, undeniably, the land of the Gods.
